Phase 1A: Detailed planning & Design Engagement
This project stage involves multiple phases to develop a detailed design for the corridor based off the Master Plan recommendations, as well as continued analysis and public input. It will include specific plans, such as where bus stops will be located, so that the project will be ready for construction once additional funding is secured.

Community Goals
- Ensure the voices of all community members are heard, particularly those from vulnerable and impacted populations.

- Form a Stakeholder Advisory Committee to provide ongoing guidance and feedback throughout the project.
Engagement Methods & Tools
- Host public meetings, pop-up events and workshops to inform the community about this project.
- Distribute surveys and questionnaires to gauge interest and capture concerns.
- Employ social media campaigns and drive web traffic to engage a broader audience, share updates and gather input.
Communications Goals
- Position Broadway All the Way as the transportation solution that reimagines the Broadway corridor in Louisville, KY by focusing on prioritizing safety, mobility, accessibility and quality of life for all users—pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders.
- Demonstrate the benefits of premium transit and complete street features such as enhanced mobility and economic opportunities.
Communications Objectives
- Educate the community about the planning and implementation phases of the project and solicit feedback at various events and via survey responses.
- Ensure the voices of all community members, particularly those from vulnerable and impacted populations, are heard and considered.
